Every great company has a story, and ours begins with a kangaroo.

The name HandyRue was inspired by my last name Larue. While brainstorming names for my handyman business, I combined "Handy" with "Rue" and came up with HandyRue. I quickly realized how it rhymed with kangaroo-and that sparked the idea for "Rue" the mascot. Nothing too fancy, but from there, HandyRue was born.

Our Mascot features a hardworking kangaroo "Rue" carrying tools alongside his young joey "Junior" learning the trade. Rue and Junior aren't just our mascots - They're a symbol of the values that guide everything we do: Hard Work, Family, Integrity, Reliability, and passing knowledge from one generation to the next.

To us, HandyRue isn't just a logo. Its a reminder that every customer should be treated like family, every job should be completed with pride, and every project deserves the care and attention it takes to do it right.
